It is a local NGO that started working in June 2006 with the purpose to stimulate the socioeconomic development of the indigenous communities through the sustainable exploitation of the forest, principally of the products NTF and of the local crafts. With this aims, there started one year ago the pilot-project Community Handicrafts Initiative Project (CHIP) which beneficiaries are the neighbors of two indigenous villages near the provincial capital.

Cando collaborates with us implementing the socio-economic component activities of our program, specially in indigenous communities, at Ratanakiri Province.
